Rose Garden
A formal garden space for seasonal blooms, quiet walks, weddings, and views across the museum grounds.
A Formal Garden Room on the Grounds
The Rose Garden offers a formal, peaceful counterpoint to the park’s historic buildings. Its beds, paths, and seasonal color give visitors a quieter way to experience the grounds. Volunteers created the garden in 1990 and presented it to the Town of Stratford in 1991; it now holds more than 450 roses. Its centerpiece is the restored cast iron fountain that once stood in the circular drive in front of the Clocktower, where the Windmill now stands.
